A-violin; B-viola; C-cello; D-string bass; P-guitar. Fundamentals of playing and teaching string instruments in a homogeneous class. Special study of problems unique to the instrument relating to care and repair, tone production, bowing, articulation, fingering, intonation, and teaching materials. One class meeting per week. May be repeated for credit.
