WGST 757 - African American Women in Nineteenth and Twentieth CenturiesCredits: 3This course will acquaint students with some of the secondary literature in African American women's history from the late nineteenth century through the twentieth century. The course examines the impact of race, gender, and class on the lives of black women and explores the historical relationship between African American women, work, family, community, and politics.
