A graduate admissions committee of the college reviews all applicants to the M.S. and Ph.D. programs. Review of complete applications will begin by March 1st. The application deadline is April 15. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum overall grade point average equivalent of B and minimum GRE scores of 1050 (verbal and quantitative sections) and 4 (analytical section). The average GRE score for students admitted between 2006-2009 was 1150. Applicants whose native language is not English are also required to submit a satisfactory score on the TOEFL. The minimum acceptable score on the TOEFL is 80 (internet-based). For advanced degrees in pharmaceutical and health outcomes sciences, an undergraduate or professional degree in a health or a business-related discipline is recommended. The college awards assistantships to graduate students in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences and clinical pharmacy and outcomes sciences. The award is based upon academic promise and has a competitive annual stipend in addition to supplements for tuition and health insurance. Students receiving graduate stipends are subject to regulations of The Graduate School and the following policies:

  1. Supported students must enroll for at least 6 semester hours of credit each semester and at least 1 semester hour each summer term.
  2. Assistantships shall be canceled for students who do not perform their assigned duties satisfactorily.
