Learning Outcomes

  • Students will be able to identify and critically evaluate public policies and the effectiveness of strategies for controlling crime.
  • Students will be able to articulate and apply principles of leadership and management to the criminal justice field.
  • Students will be able to identify and understand theories of ethics and apply them to the criminal justice field.
  • Students will be able to evaluate and apply specific leadership and management strategies involving multi-agencies and multi-jurisdictions during critical incidents and disasters.
  • Students will be able to identify and collect appropriate information and data for use in managing criminal justice agencies.
