Learning Outcomes

Degree Requirements (30 Hours)

Coursework
A candidate for the M.S. degree, while earning a minimum of 30 hours of course work beyond the baccalaureate degree, must complete the following:
Five 700-level Courses
CHEM 790, 791, 898, and 899 may not be used to satisfy this requirement.
Two Semesters of Thesis Research
Present One Divisional Seminar
Six Hours (minimum) of the Following
Note
The student must complete a combined research plan and an oral and written comprehensive exam, which consists of a summary of the thesis research plan and progress to date.
