Prerequisites:
Coursework for the Ph.D. assumes that the applicant has taken sufficient courses in the biological or social sciences and has solid preparation at the master’s level in epidemiology. As a minimum, applicants must master the content and skills taught in the following basic courses: EPID 701, EPID 741, BIOS 701, BIOS 710 and BIOS 757. These course requirements are in addition to the required hours for the Ph.D. degree. The departmental faculty also may require other extra courses on a case-by-case-basis.
